Integrated Landscape Systems was founded in Houston in 1995 as a design/build landscape construction company that installed many high quality residential and commercial landscape projects throughout the Houston area. Ten years later our business became focused solely on our professional landscape design services due to an over- whelming demand for our work from landscape contractors, developers and architects. Eventually, in 2007, after re-locating to the Texas Hill Country from Houston we changed our name to Integrated Landscape Architecture to express our commitment to providing, exclusively, landscape architectural design services to our clients which quickly became, primarily, architectural firms. Today we are proud to service the three Texas metropolitan centers of Houston, Austin and San Antonio with resulting projects all across the state of Texas. ILA specializes in beautifully detailed, practical and sustainable Landscape planting plans, Irrigation plans and Details geared to the client's/architect's wishes. These are ideal for permitting (municipal landscape ordinances), bidding and construction. Recent projects include custom residential estates, large commercial and retail developments, banks, office buildings, educational campuses and schools, multi-family developments and industrial facilities including more and more LEED certified projects.

PRINCIPAL /  OWNER

Integrated Landscape Architecture was founded, and is operated by sole proprietor / principal  Duane Bungo :  Pennsylvania State University, B.S. in Landscape Architecture,  Texas Registered Landscape Architect  #1375 since 1986  (30 years) and Louisiana Registered Landscape Architect #B-414 since 2017.  With over 35 years of landscape construction and design experience Mr. Bungo provides an unwavering professional commitment to design excellence, realistic plant and material selection, sizing and spacing as well as unsurpassed client communication and personal availability.

SENIOR  IRRIGATION  DESIGNER

Most of the larger irrigation systems for our projects are designed ( using RainCAD ) by renowned  irrigator / irrigation designer and past President of The Gulf Coast Irrigation Association, Bill Shour : Texas Licensed Irrigator  #1531  ( 32 years ).  Bill Shour is one of the most experienced and respected irrigation designers and irrigation contractors in Texas.
